Tokens
Running alongside Turnstile, Tokens engaged my focus on collecting and observation. I posted a new image daily, reflected on exhibitions seen, noted studio experimentation, presented some of my favourite magazine covers and showed some of the finds I had made. It was about adoring the odd and highlighting inspiration. I even had a column devoted to reviewing pies.
Tokens, online 2008 – 2014
Tokens ran alongside Turnstile. utilised multiple tables to store text snippets, keywords and images. The site was designed to generate content in a random fashion with keywords providing connections to specific image sets and typologies.
